Concert Choir is Pasadena City College’s large, non-auditioned choral ensemble comprised of students from across campus.
Many of its members are either non-music majors or members of the Pasadena-area community. Most have previous high school choral experience, but some do not. A significant number of Concert Choir students come from the PCC Instrumental Program. Concert Choir performs in three annual concerts, one with the PCC Symphony (Beethoven’s 9th Symphony, Spring 2026!), as well as at the Fall High School Chamber Choir Festival. Frequent Concert Choir social outings have included Los Angeles Master Chorale concerts and rehearsals, retreats, movie nights, and more. This year, Concert Choir members who wish to may tour with Chamber Singers to Spain/Portugal in the Spring 2026 semester!
Concert Choir builds lifelong friendships and brings together the most diverse group of students with the widest array of musical skill sets of any PCC performing ensemble. The Concert Choir Family is like no other choral experience.
Concert Choir meets Tues/Thurs, from 1:00-2:30pm in CA 134 (Center for the Arts). Go for it - Come and join us!
